The team for participation in the World Championship is already beginning to form, but, according to head coach Yuriy Panchenko, there are objective factors that do not allow starting preparations right now.
Unfortunately, we have an unusual situation, - says Yuri Petrovich. - Most of the Altai players are involved in the national team, and we will wait until the end of at least the preliminary round of the World Championship in order to have an idea of which of the players we can count on. We are planning to hold a preparatory camp in Turkey, in which about 90% of the roster that will compete in China at the World Championship will take part. We will play at the home Cup of Kazakhstan and in the first round of the National League, after which we will begin targeted preparations for the World Championship.
