This week, a full-time study starts at Tomsk Polytechnic University qualifying round Olympiads for schoolchildren of PJSC Gazprom. The Olympiad is held for students of grades 9-11 in five profiles - mathematics, physics, chemistry, information and communication technologies and economics, and is divided into two stages. In the field of ICT, more than 800 schoolchildren became participants in the Internet game developed on the "Agents of the Future" platform, created at TPU with the support of PJSC Gazprom. Now 395 children who have passed to the second round will have to compete for the opportunity to study at TPU and undergo an internship at Gazprom.

As a reminder, the face-to-face round will be tested at the sites of 13 flagship universities of PJSC Gazprom. Its winners and prize-winners from among the graduates of 2017 will be able to receive additional points in offset individual achievements when entering universities, in the areas of which they passed the qualifying tests for the Olympiad. And the winners and prize-winners from 9th and 10th grades will receive the right to next year be allowed to participate in the final stage of the Olympiad, bypassing the qualifying stage in the direction in which they excelled earlier.

The results of the Olympiad will be announced in April.
