"Olympic" is a legendary sports facility, one of the main sights of Moscow. The sports complex has a history of four decades. It was built to Olympic Games 1980 and for a long time was the largest indoor sports facility in Europe.

Among the many indoor Moscow skating rinks, I would like to single out the skating rink in the Olympiyskiy Sports Complex. Our company really liked the trip to him. Before that, they went to Russian ice V Gorky Park. The skating rink in the Olympic simply cannot be compared with it.

The ice on it is even and smooth, it is clear that they are seriously working on it. And in this stadium, mostly professional figure skaters ride, so you can always find yourself good coach. The entry price is, of course, high, but it fully justifies itself.

There is a wardrobe and a toilet, they can be used free of charge. For mass skating The skating rink is open several times a week: on Wednesday from 15.00 to 16.00, Saturday from 11.00 to 12.30, from 12.45 to 13.45, from 14.00 to 15.00 and on Sunday from 15.45 to 16.45, from 17.00 to 18.00, from 18.15 to 19.00. Working hours are better, after all, to be specified additionally.

There are no skate rentals. Not so long ago the ice center sports complex"Olympic" reopened its doors to visitors after a technical break. Hockey players, figure skaters, and curling enthusiasts will find a place in it.

Now a new hockey rink has been installed there, new ice has been poured in and the design of the hall has been changed. At the skating rink in the "Olympic" there are classes for subscription groups. Figure skating classes are held for children 4-14 years old. The purpose of the lesson: to give the guys initial training figure skating. Your child will be taught how to slide correctly, perform simple elements such as spinning and jumping.

Boys aged 7-14 are recruited into the group of hockey players. At the lessons, the guys will definitely learn the technique of handling a stick and a puck, and just like hockey is a team game, they will develop a sense of composure, attentiveness, and responsibility for the team.

In the synchronized skating group, those who have already mastered the technique of figure skating are engaged. Admission to the group is based on the results of viewing during the entire school year. Synchronized skating is a more democratic sport, although it is based on figure skating. We were more interested in mass skating.

From him we really got positive emotions. High-quality ice, a large area for skating, musical accompaniment - all this left a pleasant impression and a desire to definitely return to Olimpiyskiy again. Don't forget to drop by Catherine Park after rides.
