Format

The format of the tournament involves two groups of teams competing separately from each other before the play-offs.

The path of the UEFA Champions League: The 32 youth teams of the clubs participating in the UEFA Champions League will retain the format and schedule of the group stage matches, which comply with group stage UEFA Champions League. The group winners will advance to the 1/8 finals, while the runners-up will advance to the play-offs.

Path of National Champions: 32 winners of national youth tournaments will play two rounds of two-legged confrontations, and eight winners will advance to play-offs.

  • In the play-offs, the winners of the National Champions Path will play one match at home against the teams that finished second in the UEFA Champions League Path group.
  • In the round of 16, the group winners of the UEFA Champions League Path will play one match against the winners of the play-offs (hosts to be determined by lot).
  • In the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals, the teams played each other in one match (the hosts of the quarter-final matches were determined by lot, the semi-finals and final were held at a neutral stadium).
