Anna Rizatdinova: "I fought to the last. But we have a very subjective sport"

Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast Anna Sergeevna Rizatdinova has repeatedly been a prize-winner at the European and World Championships, in 2016 at the Olympics in Rio she took third place on the podium.

Childhood

Born in the city of Simferopol in 1993. Parents were athletes: father Sergey Rizatdinov - master of sports in swimming, mother - rhythmic gymnast Oksana Rizatdinova. Mom became the first coach for Anya, the second coach was Veronika Yurievna Belyaeva. Now gymnast Anna Rizatdinova is from Kiev, her coaches are Albina and Irina Deriugins (Deriugins rhythmic gymnastics school).

Mom - Oksana Valerievna Rizatdinova is the head coach of the Dynamo sports school, she is also an honored coach of Ukraine, vice-president of rhythmic gymnastics of Crimea. Herself sport school Dynamo was founded in the 1980s. It was founded by Lyubov Serebryanskaya, mother Olympic champion Catherine Serebryanskaya. In total, there are six rhythmic gymnastics schools in Crimea, Dynamo is the largest of them, about 300 gymnasts train there. Despite the fact that Oksana Valerievna - experienced trainer, it is difficult for her to watch her daughter's performances in live, very worried. She watches competitions with the participation of Anna Rizatdinova in a repeat.

Started practicing at the age of four. At first it was just exercises for flexibility, getting to know the gym, shells. Classes in rhythmic gymnastics proper began at the age of five. At first it was difficult, after a painful stretch, she even left classes for a while, but after a few months she returned to the gym of her own accord (my mother did not force me to do sports) and since then she has not parted with gymnastics, training almost daily.

In 2008, as part of the Ukrainian team, which included Zagorodnyaya Tanya and Mazur Vika, she received a bronze medal for team all-around at the European Junior Championships (Turin, Italy). With a hoop and ribbon at this tournament, she entered the top five, thanks to which she was included in the adult national team of Ukraine.

First Olympics

In 2009, at the World Championships in Ise (Japan), she was fourth in the team standings.

In 2010, at the world championship in Moscow, the Ukrainian team took fourth place. In the same year, at the European Championships, which took place in the city of Bremen, she was 14 in the all-around.

In 2011, at the European Championships in Minsk, she was awarded the team bronze. She also won a bronze medal for team performance at the World Championships in Montpellier (France).

Since the gymnast did not have an Olympic license before the Olympics, she went through an additional round of competitions in London in early 2012, as a result, she was included in the Ukrainian Olympic team as its leader.

At the European Championship in Nizhny Novgorod placed eighth in subsequent Olympic Games ah in London took tenth place in the individual all-around. In shells, she showed the best result in clubs, with these shells she was fifth. Anya considered the London Olympics her personal defeat, since Ukrainian gymnasts were always in the top five at competitions of this level.

After the Olympics in rhythmic gymnastics the rules have changed - dance movements, artistry were rated higher. Anya managed to perform beautifully, gracefully, so her exercises began to be rated higher. Good personal data plus the compilation of a good program became the basis for the further success of the athlete.

At the Aeon Cup Club World Championship, she won a bronze medal. In the individual all-around, she became the second, losing to the Russian athlete.

The 2012 Ukrainian Championship brought four gold medals.

In 2013

At the World Cup stage in the Estonian city of Tartu, she received gold medals for the all-around and a hoop, she won silver for performances with a ribbon, maces, and a ball.

At the World Championships in Kyiv, she won gold medal for performance with a hoop (won Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun), she received silver for the ribbon and all-around. She lost the ball, so with this projectile she became only the sixth. Interestingly, when she was on the first step of the pedestal, by mistake they turned on not the Ukrainian, but the Russian anthem, but the Ukrainian flag was still raised. After these successful competitions, Anna became famous, she was invited for interviews, her authority as an athlete increased significantly. She decided to thoroughly prepare for the Olympics, which was still more than two years old.

At the Aeon Cup, together with Mazur Vika, she received team bronze. In the individual all-around was the fourth.

In 2014

The Grand Prix stage in Thiers brought a gold medal for the ribbon, a silver medal for the ball, two bronze medals for exercises with clubs and a hoop.

Aeon Cup Club Tournament - Team Bronze.

In 2014, Ukraine experienced a tragedy - clashes on the Maidan (training took place in the October Palace and Anna Rizatdinova was an eyewitness to all the events) affected the training schedule, which was canceled for some time. The scheduling of the speeches was delayed and perhaps not as originally planned. At the time when Anya performed in Hungary, Ukraine lost the Crimea, where the athlete's parents remained. The events in Donbas were also hard on the state and sports, the Ukrainian government first of all cut the country's sports budget. Athletes began to flee from Ukraine, for example, one of the leaders of rhythmic gymnastics moved to Russia. But Rizatdinova clearly decided for herself that she retains Ukrainian citizenship and continues to play for the Ukrainian national team.

The political situation is superimposed on sports, the Ukrainian team missed the Grand Prix stage, which was held in Moscow. But in general, the gymnast communicates with Russian athletes and coaches, trying not to touch on political topics in conversations. It is difficult for her to talk about Crimea, with which her childhood is connected and nostalgic memories remain. She does not visit the peninsula, although Anya sees her parents when they come to Kyiv.

In 2015

World Cup stage in Pesaro - a silver medal for a ribbon, a bronze medal for performance with clubs.

Summer Universiade(Gwangju, South Korea) - a gold medal for exercises with clubs, a silver medal for a ball, a bronze medal for a ribbon.

World Championships in Stuttgart - bronze for team all-around, for ribbon, hoop, clubs. The athlete took a risk, because she performed with an updated program with a hoop, which she had just mastered. In the individual all-around, she was fifth (she made a mistake in the exercise with clubs), thus she received a license for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro 2016. The athlete had such an emotional lift because of the won Olympic license that she did not feel tired for several days. And this despite the fact that after other competitions of a similar level, Anya needed to rest for several days from psychological and physical overstrain.

There was only one Olympic license, because, according to the new rules, if the number 2 team does not get into the top 15, then the chances of it getting into the Olympics are very small. Therefore, Anna Rizatdinova had to take one to defend the honor of her state at the games in Rio in next year.

At competitions gymnastic clubs Aeon Cup won two silver medals - in the team all-around and individual all-around.

In 2015, several critical articles about Ukrainian rhythmic gymnasts were published - as if they were walking during performances, unprofessional work with equipment. Perhaps the programs were simply not complicated enough and they decided to complicate them for the participants of the Ukrainian team. Anna Rizatdinova tried to give artistry to the performance, focusing on dance elements. But she also began working on the subject, honing the fine details. At first, this tactic resulted in frequent loss of objects during the performance, but after careful practice of the exercises, the Ukrainian rhythmic gymnastics in the person of Anna Rizatdinova changed - there were no more caustic remarks about the technique.

In 2016

World Cup stage in Berlin - a gold medal for a hoop, also a gold medal for clubs. Silver medal - exercises with a ribbon.

European Championship, Holon (Israel) - bronze for individual all-around.

At the Olympics in Rio, she received bronze for the individual absolute championship. She lost to Mamun Margarita (first place) and Yan Kudryavtsev (second place). For successful performance at the Olympics, she was awarded the Order of Princess Olga of the second degree.

In the competition between clubs Aeon Cup won a silver medal in the individual championship, the Ukrainian team won bronze.

At the beginning of 2017, Anna Rizatdinova was injured at the Kiev stage of the Grand Prix and withdrew from the competition. The leader of the Ukrainian team said that she did not intend to leave the sport, and after recovery she would continue to fight for prizes in world tournaments.

Personal life

In sports, Anna was guided by Ekaterina Serebryanskaya, who also worked in the Crimea. Despite the fact that when Anya started her sports career, and Katya had already finished it, the girl studied the sports experience of the Olympic champion and he helped her to train and perform effectively.

Also a role model was Anna Bessonova, whose portraits the girl pasted over her room. From her she adopted perseverance in achieving goals, the ability to overcome difficulties.

One of the components of success in sports is long warm-ups, which in the Ukrainian team last up to five hours, although they usually warm up before the competition for up to two hours. Warm-ups include fine detail work, complex exercises. They also help to smooth out the nervous situation before the competition due to prolonged, but not too strong physical exertion.

The athlete trains every day from 9 am to 8 pm, with a short break for lunch. Day off is Sunday.

Anna loves to travel very much - she especially likes the United States of America, the megacities of New York and Los Angeles occupy the top line of the gymnast's preference rating. Among European cities, she especially likes Barcelona. At home, he likes to visit the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

Sometimes he visits cinemas. He likes to listen to music, likes the work of Michael Jackson.

Rizatdinova did not adhere to strict diets, she loves ice cream, chocolate, pizza, excess calories disappear after training. If an athlete works hard, it will be difficult for him to recover, even with abundant nutrition. The main thing is that the food is natural. Foods with chemical additives should be avoided, because they can provoke metabolic disorders, which harm the figure much more than high-calorie foods. For breakfast, he eats cottage cheese, yogurt, fruits, oatmeal. For lunch, boiled or steamed chicken meat, rice, buckwheat, salad. Dinner usually consists of a fish dish and a salad.

Since the athlete devotes all the time to gymnastics, even free time tries to spend on training, then there is no time left for personal life. Also, a lot of time goes to competitions - training camps, the road, sometimes even acclimatization, all this takes a lot of strength and energy.

Anya likes figure skating even though she can't skate. The love of dancing is embodied on the carpet - the gymnast has an excellent choreography, which is harmoniously combined with complex sports elements. She loves to swim, tried herself in surfing, rowing. visited several times football matches, which Dynamo Kyiv played, supported the Portuguese national team at Euro 2016.

After graduation sports career wants to be a coach. She also wants to try herself as a TV presenter.

Marina absolutely agrees with you that Ganna is an artificially created political product. We are all witnesses to this. Let's turn to the facts. Everyone writes and Ganna herself agrees that the judges noticed her and revealed her in 2013. This is a fact - a fact. And what happened in 2013? Many have already forgotten it and do not remember. And I will remember and remind you that there was an unprecedented scandal with the judges, all the judges were checked for categories, it was announced that many judges were incompetent and deprived of categories, while there was always the context that the Russian judge Natalia Kuzmina was involved and she pulls the Russian team. A real Maidan went against Russia in Kyiv in 2013. The judges were changed, the judges of the highest category became line arbiters, and the judges with a lower category judged the technique. This is nonsense. Bruno the old man decided to make a revolution And Deriugina all blossomed and sang, here are the allies. Here Ganna entered the world arena, an average gymnast, worse than Maksimenko in terms of complexity and technique. But since the scandal was between Deriugina and Maksimenko, Hanna was let out ahead. They did as Deryugin wants, she liked Hanna - obedient. Tu Gunna and gold in the hoop received, became the World Champion. Everyone was happy.

But Irina Viner is not simple woman. She raised all the best lawyers and began to prove her case in court. And Bruno and his Co. began to lose. The trials were won and the honor of the judges restored. Bruno saw how he butted in and that soon the place would go to distant lands. Decided not to quarrel with Russia. Although he does not like us, we sponsor, develop, popularize, defend Rhythmic Gymnastics, and with Deryugina, apart from Maidan and collapse, there is nothing to bungled. That's where everything fell into place. Even then I was surprised how badly the Ukrainians treated us, our girls, 15 and 17 years old, were booed in Kyiv. Venus also wrote hateful reviews about us here. The result of the Maidan in the country and also hatred for us. Ganna could advance further in the Crimea. But the Gymnastics Federation took a neutral position. We decided to no longer interfere with politics in sports. Therefore, Hanna did not pass this option. But Melita suffered more than Ganna in the subject, her technique is also good, emotional, fast. But .. here the judges hesitated. Here Hanna was put in opposition to the Russian school, played off, what can I say. Therefore, no matter what Melita did, she would not have received a medal at the Olympics. I think that Melita is stronger than Anya as a gymnast. Melita has very intense exercises, a lot of skill, work with the subject, original elements, emotionality. I sometimes think, well, Melita could simplify and maybe then .. And then I say no. It should not simplify otherwise it is not the Belarusian style. Yana, Rita, Melita throw, toss, take risks, be original and, of course, there is more risk of loss. This is the chip on the verge, which is original, difficult on the verge of a foul. But Anya didn’t rub everything, so give me a silver medal. Correctly Shatalina said, yes, she has nothing to drop on, she has 5 throws per exercise, if she also lost on this, then this is generally beyond. ;)

And remember Eurovision, Lazarev and Jamala were also specially pitted. It's like they do it on purpose.

Famed Ukrainian gymnast 24-year-old Anna Rizatdinova, who gave birth to a son last November with fugitive oligarch Oleksandr Onishchenko, 48, has revealed she is married. The girl also told the details of her acquaintance with the ex-people's deputy and assured that he was a good father.

The curtain of secrecy was initially lifted by Onishchenko himself for "Country". “I am grateful to Anya for my son. They named after my father - Roma. Mom and baby feel great. And me? Well, how can a man who has become a father again feel. Alexander Onishchenko told us in an exclusive comment.

And now, a couple of months later, the owner of the bronze medal at the Rio Olympics revealed the frank details of her acquaintance with Onishchenko in an interview with "Secular Life".

According to Anna, the millionaire was able to see in her what others did not notice. The athlete met the oligarch at rhythmic gymnastics competitions in Europe.

“At first, communication was on“ you ”, everything was at a distance, culturally. Once Alexander Onishchenko sponsored the rhythmic gymnastics team. So they crossed paths,” recalled Rizatdinova.

The girl said that the politician conquered her not with expensive gifts, but with his attitude.

“I may disappoint many now, because many people know him from the side of courtship. He loves to give cars, jewelry. But he conquered me with a human attitude, he saw in me what many do not see,” Anna admitted.

Rizatdinova also announced for the first time that she had given birth already married: "I am a believer, and a child out of wedlock would be a sin for me."

In addition, the athlete admitted that at first her father was very worried about the future son-in-law, but after meeting with Onishchenko, he changed his mind about him.

“Many people don’t believe me when I say that he is a good father, that he devotes a lot of time to the child, when I say that Sasha bathes the baby himself. But it’s true,” said Rizatdinova.

Recall that Anya is from Simferopol. She has been coached by her mother since she was five years old. Colleagues on the team nicknamed the successful gymnast "Rosette" (come from her last name). Rizatdinova is friends with famous gymnasts Anna Bessonova and Irisha Blokhina. By the way, a huge mural on the facade of the Kyiv house on the street. Streletskaya, 12, the artist dedicated it to her.

Recall that businessman Alexander Onishchenko already has two children: 22-year-old daughter Diana and 15-year-old son Alexander.

Anna Rizatdinova- our pride and hope: for the coming summer Olympic Games 2016 the athlete will represent Ukraine, which is why now her daily routine is training, training and more training. Fragile, but strong, flexible, but with unbending willpower and a tempered character, Anna is an example of how to set goals correctly and achieve them - systematically, confidently, step by step. A girl was born and raised in a family of athletes: when your mother is a rhythmic gymnastics coach, and your father is a master of sports in swimming, the question of where this endurance and the “Olympic” spirit came from, of course, is not relevant! We admire Anya and wish her to achieve all her goals, as well as fulfill her most cherished dreams and glorify Ukraine for "Olympics 2016", but for now, let's look into her cosmetic bag, find out beauty secrets and the success of a professional gymnast and just spend time in the company of a real Self-made woman. Enjoy!

Anna, tell us about yourself and, of course, about your profession?

I have been doing rhythmic gymnastics all my life. This is my calling, for me it is everything. My mother was a famous gymnast in the past, now she has her own rhythmic gymnastics school in the Crimea, I also decided to follow in her footsteps and continue the family business. This is a wonderful sport for girls, it makes us more feminine, graceful and simply helps to reveal our inner world. Now I am fully immersed in preparations for the Olympics, which will be held in August in Rio de Janeiro. For me, these are the most important starts throughout my career and I will do my best to represent our country in Rio.

Anna, at such a young age (22 years old), you are a world champion in the hoop exercise, a multiple winner of the world and European gymnastics championships, what do you think is your secret of success?

This is a huge work, I have been going to this for a long time. This is not only my job, but also my coaches - Irisha Blokhina, Irina Ivanovna Deryugina and Alba Nikolaevna Deryugina. I have almost daily workouts - from morning to evening, I live in rhythmic gymnastics, and I am focused only on the highest result.

How did you get into your profession: what inspired you to do this particular thing?

My mother is a rhythmic gymnastics coach. I spent all my childhood in the gym and watched the gymnasts train. Initially, there was not much desire to become a gymnast, but then, I still felt a real buzz that rhythmic gymnastics gives me.

What challenges did you face on the path to success? How did you overcome them?

I improve my skills every day thanks to my trainers - Irisha Blokhina and Irina Deriugina. This is not an easy sport, I spend the whole day in the gym, there is almost no time for some of my business. This requires complete dedication. There were many difficulties, but why talk about them if I successfully cope with them.

There is an opinion that women in professional sports suffer from health problems - too much physical activity, inadequate rest and an irregular schedule affect. Is this a myth or reality?

Indeed, the burden is enormous. But you get used to them, as the body gets used to daily training, travel, competition. Of course, it is not easy, but I know the price of victory, and, believe me, it is worth it when the country's flag is raised in front of a crowded hall.

What is your daily routine? How do you start the day and how do you end it?

Everything is very simple - training, training, and more training. Six days a week, except for Sunday, I am in the gym, and if there are important competitions, then on Sunday too. Training lasts from nine in the morning until the evening. There is an hour break for lunch, then - back to battle!

How does your profession affect your skincare?

Doesn't really affect. If there are a few free days after the competition, I can afford to visit the SPA-salon - to relax a little. There I make various kinds of natural masks. And at home everything is simple - I use moisturizing creams, nothing special.

What “jars” can you find right now on your bathroom shelf?

I don't have as much makeup as other girls. There is a Chanel foundation, a couple of moisturizers, a couple of pencils and a few bright shades of MAC lipstick.

What makeup is always in your workout bag and why?

Sometimes in the evening, despite being tired, I still attend social events or just go to the cinema with my friends. Of course, you have to do makeup right in the hall! I can not do without foundation, eyeliner and bright red lipstick.

The main skin problems faced by a gymnast?

This is all very individual - it all depends on the age, nutrition and care of the athlete for her face. I try to eat healthy food, take care of myself. If we take it as a whole, then problems arise only because of fatigue and constant flights - there may be rashes on the face.

Do you visit a beautician? What procedures do you usually like to do?

No, I don't visit a beautician. There is no such need. I'm trying to do my best.)

The most unusual spa treatment you have ever had?

Chocolate wraps are an indescribable experience. I will definitely repeat this procedure after the Olympics.

Tell us about your body care? What creams, lotions and gels do you prefer?

I love natural cosmetics for body care, I buy everything at airports - during flights to competitions. I don't have that much makeup in general. I love French shower gels and LOREAL cosmetics.

What makeup is in your makeup bag right now?

MAC red lipstick and eyeliner.

Do you do workout makeup?

No, we come to training without makeup. What for?! We train until the seventh sweat, it's superfluous.

Like any other woman, you probably have a favorite red lipstick - what is it, what brand, what shade? How long they searched and picked up (it is known that this is still what a problem for a girl!)))

Of course, I follow fashion trends: I think that there is nothing better for a girl than MAC lipsticks of different shades! I order a lot of them, constantly experimenting with color.

If we talk about your evening make-up, what do you prefer to highlight - eyes or lips? Why?

I highlight both eyes and lips. I like to stand out from the crowd, to be bright, so you need to emphasize all facial features.

Anna, what is your secret to a slim figure?

The secret of harmony among gymnasts is very simple, we eat little and work a lot in the gym. I can honestly tell you that I have never been on a diet in my life.

But how do you keep yourself in shape?

Only thanks to training and in some cases had to give up lunch and dinner. I am constantly looking after myself. I wake up in the morning, get out of bed, step on the scales, and immediately understand how much I can eat so that the weight does not change. In the same way after training: I come home, and stand on the scales, respectively, I understand whether I can afford to have dinner or not.

Is it more effective for you to exercise in the gym or is it like this morning and evening control with the help of weights?

It is more acceptable for me to work more in the gym and lose weight than not to eat at all, because you still need strength! We have a very hardy sport, and strength is always needed, as training lasts daily - from morning to evening.

How do you recover after a workout?

After a long day at work, I always try to lie down on the bed with raised nones. I lie down, put something under my feet, for example, a blanket, so that my legs are at a height - in this way I restore muscles, joints, and relieve swelling. This helps me a lot.

What other beauty secrets do you have?

For example, during long flights, I make sure to wear compression gaiters! They help me a lot to fly to the competition site without swollen legs! I practically do not use creams for the body, hands and feet - all this replaces coconut oil for me. This is a magical remedy! I try to cook with coconut oil - it's delicious and most importantly healthy!

What flavors do you prefer?

I love soft and delicate scents. My favorite perfumes are Tom Ford and Bond NY.

Anna Rizatdinova can be considered a true veteran by the standards of her sport. She has been performing at a high level for many years, having won many awards during this time and becoming a real legend in her homeland. Given the incredible level of competition from Russian girls, her position in rhythmic gymnastics is highly appreciated by everyone.

Sailor's daughter

Anna Sergeevna Rizatdinova was born in 1993 in Simferopol. Her father was a seafarer, her mother worked as a rhythmic gymnastics coach. At that time in the Crimea, this sport was developing quite dynamically, there was a good base with excellent spacious halls. Local coaches brought up a number of good gymnasts, among which Ekaterina Serebryanskaya can be distinguished.

Given the above, it is not surprising that since the most early years Anna began to do rhythmic gymnastics under the strict guidance of her mother-coach. I must say that nature rather sparingly rewarded Anya with the physical data necessary for a gymnast. According to Rizatdinova herself, she lacked stretching, flexibility, and she roared terribly in childhood when the coaches stretched her.

However, soon the girl became involved in classes and could no longer imagine her life without rhythmic gymnastics. At a certain moment, it became clear to everyone that Anna Rizatdinova had outgrown the regional level, after which she went to Kyiv, where she became a diligent student of the legendary Albina school and

Start of a great career

The youthful exploits of a native of Simferopol at the international level pleased the girl's coaches and allowed her to hope for a great sports future. In 2008, together with Tatyana Zagorodnya and Victoria Mazur, Anna Rizatdinova won third place in the team standings of the European Junior Championship. In addition, the girl performed well in personal events, hitting the top five in exercises with a hoop and ribbon.

All these achievements allowed Anna to get into the national team of Ukraine, where there was a personnel crisis for a long time after leaving the sport. For several years, the girl got used to the transition to the adult level, not particularly pleased with her results in the individual competition.

However, general high level The national team of Ukraine allowed Anna and her friends to regularly achieve good results in team standings. So, in 2011, Rizatdinova became the bronze medalist of the World and European Championships in the team event (together with Victoria Mazur and Victoria Shinkarenko).

First Olympic try

The 2011 World Championships in Montpellier was of particular importance for the young Ukrainian gymnast, as licenses for participation in the Olympic Games in London were played here. However, young Anna Rizatdinova could not withstand the load of psychological pressure and performed significantly below her abilities, taking only eighteenth place in the individual all-around.

Nevertheless, the girl had one more chance to get to the main starts of the four-year period. To do this, it was necessary to go through an additional round of selection, held in London. Anna Rizatdinova pulled herself together and calmly completed the task, having won a license to participate in the Olympics.

The final rehearsal for the Olympics was the continental championship held in Nizhny Novgorod. Here the Ukrainian managed to get into the top ten, becoming the eighth.

Anna Rizatdinova went to London in the status of the first number of the Ukrainian team. Everyone was waiting for a breakthrough from the girl for a long time, however, according to Anya herself, at that time she was rather cool about training, and could not make a qualitative leap in her development.

At the 2012 Games, the girl became the tenth, again stopping at a respectable distance from the podium.

Time to win

An unintelligible performance in London was the impetus that made Anna Rizatdinova reconsider her attitude to her beloved work. For a long time she was discouraged by the lack of real competition in the Ukrainian national team. However, she realized that her best years in rhythmic gymnastics are left behind, and took up her mind, starting to give all the best in the training halls to the fullest.

Anna Rizatdinova made the real breakthrough in her career in 2013. She won the individual award at the Continental Championship for the first time, taking silver in the ribbon exercise, and also helped the team to become second in the team competition.

The most successful for the girl was the home world championship, held in Kyiv. She won her first gold medal at the World Championships in the hoop exercise and also performed brilliantly in the all-around, wedging her silver medal on the podium between two Russians.

Rio

By the time the Olympic Games in Rio began, Anna Rizatdinova was already 23 years old - a critical age for representatives of rhythmic gymnastics.

A native of Simferopol adequately used her last chance and took the bronze medal, losing only to inaccessible Russian gymnasts.
